Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, browsing, or using this Site, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old or have the consent of a parent or guardian, and you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions and all applicable Canadian laws and regulations.

2. Event Participation

Participation in the Railway City Charity Car Show (the “Event”) is voluntary and subject to specific registration requirements, fees, and waivers that may apply at the time of entry.

  • Participants must comply with all event rules, safety regulations, and instructions provided by event staff.

  • Vehicles entered in the show must be properly insured, registered, and in safe operating condition.

  • The Railway City Charity Car Show Committee reserves the right to deny or revoke participation for any reason, including inappropriate conduct or unsafe behavior.

3. Liability and Waiver

By attending or participating in the Event, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • You assume all risks associated with participation, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, theft, or loss.

  • The Railway City Charity Car Show Committee, its volunteers, sponsors, and partners are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your participation or attendance.

  • Participants and attendees release the organizers from any and all claims related to injury, damage, or loss incurred at or during the Event.

This waiver applies to the maximum extent permitted under Ontario law.

4. Website Use

You agree to use the Site for lawful purposes only and in a manner that does not infringe upon or restrict anyone else’s use or enjoyment of the Site.

Prohibited uses include:

  • Uploading or transmitting harmful code, malware, or spam.

  • Posting false, misleading, or defamatory content.

  • Attempting to gain unauthorized access to our systems or data.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on this Site—including logos, images, text, graphics, and design—is the property of the Railway City Charity Car Show or its respective owners and is protected under Canadian copyright and trademark laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, or modify any material without our written consent.

8. Donations and Payments

All donations and payments processed through this Site are final unless otherwise specified.
Refunds for event fees are at the sole discretion of the Railway City Charity Car Show Committee.

By attending the Event, you grant permission for the Railway City Charity Car Show and its partners to use photos, videos, or likenesses of you and your vehicle for promotional and marketing purposes without compensation.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice.
Changes take effect immediately upon posting to this Site. Your continued use of the Site constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable therein.
